Singer to hit studio to record new single

Independent pop singer Leshai is finally heading back to the studio after a long hiatus. The singer plans to enter the studio on Apr. 20 to begin work on her new single. The single will be the first single from the singer's sophomore album. Leshai explained why she waited so long to head back into the studio.

"I want this album to be better than the first one," the singer said. "I want to keep perfecting my craft, so preparing to record new music has been my main focus. Now I am ready."


While the details of the new album are still in the works, the singer said that the album will feature 12-16 tracks and express who she is as an artist by bringing her image and passion for music to life. Also, Leshai plans to work with Splitting Image, the production duo who produced her entire debut album.


The single should be released early next month.
